Rippled Vase or Storage Pot - Handcrafted Stoneware with Magic Glaze - by Sarah

Some things are made to be kept forever.

This handcrafted stoneware vase or storage pot is one of those things.

Hand thrown on the wheel with real skill and patience, she has the most beautiful organic cylindrical form - her surface alive with the most gorgeous natural ripple texture, created by the rhythm of the wheel as her walls were drawn up by hand. Every ripple a little different. Every ripple completely her own.

She is finished in my signature Magic Glaze - a glaze that moves and flows beautifully across her surface, displaying the softest creamy whites, warm taupes, and the most subtle hints of grey-blue depending on the light. Absolutely stunning in person.

She is calm. She is earthy. She is completely one of a kind.

This piece was handcrafted by Sarah right here in the Clayful Thoughts Pottery Studio.

Thrown, shaped, and glazed with a two stage kiln firing process - every step of the creation process taken with real care, patience, love and attention.

Stoneware has its own strong and durable superpower which means your Rippled Vase or Storage Pot can be displayed with pride inside your lovely home or out in the garden - wherever it brings you the most joy.

She is wide enough to hold a beautiful small bouquet of fresh flowers (small stems), a generous bunch of dried botanicals, or a small plant - and she works beautifully as a storage pot for your desk, bathroom, or kitchen too.

She looks just as gorgeous sitting empty on a shelf as a piece of art in her own right.

A truly beautiful gift for someone you love. For a birthday, a new home, a wedding, an anniversary - or simply because some people deserve something as beautiful as they are.

Or perhaps she is just for you. 🌸
