Can you help me choose a meaningful gift?

Absolutely. Our Gift Finder lets you explore gifts by recipient or occasion, and you are always welcome to contact Sarah if you would like a little personal help choosing something that feels right.

What if I know how I feel but don’t know what to write?

You are not alone. Helping people find the words their heart already knows is an important part of Clayful Thoughts. Tell Sarah a little about the person, occasion or feeling behind your gift and she will be happy to help you shape a meaningful message.

Are all Clayful Thoughts gifts personalised?

No. Our collection includes personalised gifts, Sarah’s own handcrafted pieces, work by independent crafters, vintage finds and carefully chosen giftware. Where personalisation is available, the options will be clearly shown on the product page.

Can I include a gift message?

Yes, with the exception of Crafter’s Corner items, which are sent directly by their independent maker. For all other eligible items, your gift message will be printed and included as a gift message scroll tied with ribbon or as a beautifully presented separate note, depending on the item.

Can you send my gift directly to the recipient?

Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient’s address as the delivery address and keep your own details as the billing address. We will prepare the parcel beautifully, ready for them to receive.

How long will my order take to prepare and dispatch?

Hugs & Hug Cards are dispatched within 24–48 hours of receiving your order. Jewellery, standard Pottery, Giftware and Vintage & Collectables are dispatched within 1 working day. Personalised Superpower Flower Hugs have a 5–7-working-day preparation and dispatch timeframe. Other made-to-order Clay Gifts are usually dispatched within 10–15 working days. Personalised pottery retains its four-week creation and dispatch timeframe, and any longer timeframe shown on an individual product page still applies. Crafter’s Corner pieces are dispatched by their maker within 7 working days.

Hugs are sent within their stated timeframe, separately from items needing longer preparation, at no additional split-dispatch charge. Other items dispatched by Clayful Thoughts™ are normally sent together according to the longest applicable dispatch timeframe. Crafter’s Corner items are sent separately by their makers. Dispatch time is separate from delivery time.

What packaging will my order arrive in?

Handcrafted items arrive lovingly gift wrapped in tissue inside their own gift box and tied with ribbon. Gift wrapping for Crafter’s Corner pieces may vary because of the size, shape or nature of the item, but every parcel will still have that lovingly packaged feel.

Giftware is carefully prepared for dispatch using suitable protective packaging. Depending on the item, this may include its original branded or unbranded packaging, or carefully selected pre-loved packaging. Vintage, antique and collectable pieces are securely protected using pre-loved packaging wherever possible.

What delivery options are available?

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only and do not offer international shipping at this time. Standard UK delivery is £4.50, with free delivery on orders over £40. Additional postage charges may apply to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland. Please contact us before placing your order so we can provide an accurate postage quote.

Do you have a physical shop?

No, not currently. We focus all our care and attention on our online shop, allowing us to bring together Sarah’s handcrafted work, independent crafters, vintage finds and thoughtfully chosen giftware in one special collection.
