Place it at the centre of your table, watch every single person stop and stare.
Dawn has hand-burned this breathtaking large natural log slice with an abundant fir cone scene.
Clusters of plump, perfectly formed pine cones nestled amongst sweeping pine needle branches, filling every inch of the surface from edge to edge with extraordinary depth and texture.
Every individual scale of every single cone burned entirely by hand, with fire, into the warm golden wood.
Up close, the detail is almost impossible to believe.
From across the room, the overall effect is simply stunning.
Style it with a pillar candle at the centre for the most beautiful Christmas or autumn tablescape you have ever created.
Use it as a statement display piece on a sideboard or hearth all year round.
Either way, it is a centrepiece in every sense of the word.
No laser could ever create this. What you are looking at is the result of years of skill, patience and an extraordinary human hand - true traditional pyrography, where every shadow, every curve and every tiny detail is felt as much as it is drawn. This is the art form in its purest form.
Completely one of a kind. No two pieces are ever identical.
