This is not a piece you put on a shelf and admire from a distance, this is the piece that becomes the heart of a room.
Dawn has hand-burned this breathtaking large natural log slice with a wild and abundant bramble scene.
With sprawling branches heavy with clusters of plump blackberries at every stage of ripening, broad serrated leaves with every single vein individually burned, delicate stems threading through the composition.
The natural tree rings of the wood glow at the centre, the organic edge of the slice frames the scene, and every mark across the entire surface was made entirely by hand.
Stand it on a sideboard, lay it flat as a table centrepiece with a candle or a little bud vase nestled at its heart.
Either way, every single person who sees it will stop and stare.
No laser could ever create this. What you are looking at is the result of years of skill, patience and an extraordinary human hand - true traditional pyrography, where every shadow, every curve and every tiny detail is felt as much as it is drawn. This is the art form in its purest form.
Completely one of a kind.
No two pieces are ever identical.
