Somewhere between a dream and a storybook, this cottage exists.
Dawn has hand-burned this extraordinary wall plaque with the most magical fairytale cottage you have ever seen.
The roof is unlike anything in the real world- sweeping and billowing in great curved waves, covered in individually hand-burned scalloped tiles, with a domed chimney pot rising from the centre with a curl of smoke drifting above.
Multiple arched windows with beautiful fanlight detailing look out from every face of the building.
A covered porch with its own little lean-to roof shelters the front door.
Stone steps wind up through wild tumbling garden planting, with trees framing the scene on either side.
Every single mark - every tile, every stone, every blade of grass - burned entirely by hand, with fire, into the warm golden wood.
No laser could ever create this. What you are looking at is the result of years of skill, patience and an extraordinary human hand - true traditional pyrography, where every shadow, every curve and every tiny detail is felt as much as it is drawn.
This is the art form in its purest form.
Below the cottage, in bold hand-burned lettering with heart details: ♥ HOME SWEET HOME ♥. Hung on rustic jute twine, ready to go straight on your wall.
Completely one of a kind. No two pieces are ever identical.
