Large Brass Rocking Chair - Vintage Ornament - For Display - Vintage Collectable

There is something wonderfully captivating about a piece with this much detail at this scale.

A large, heavy and beautifully crafted vintage brass rocking chair - a proper statement ornament that commands attention wherever it is placed.

Every element has been rendered with extraordinary care - the elegantly curved armrests sweep out with real grace, the spindle back features a row of six beautifully turned balusters topped with a shaped crest rail, and the seat has a lovely scalloped apron edge that gives the whole piece a real period character.

The rockers are broad and substantial, giving the chair a wonderful stability, and the four legs are perfectly turned to match the spindles throughout.

The brass has a gorgeous warm antique tone - the kind of depth that only comes with age - with areas of lighter gold catching the light alongside the richer, more mellow tones beneath.

Large enough to be a genuine display piece in its own right, with real presence wherever it is placed.

A truly beautiful object with real presence - the kind of thing you find once and never forget.

Not a toy - this piece is for decorative purposes only.

One piece. Once it is gone, it is gone.
