This wonderfully colourful fused glass wave is lovingly handcrafted by Viki, one of our extraordinarily talented Clayful Thoughts Crafter's Corner makers.
Viki's fused glass work is genuinely like nothing else - each piece a miniature masterpiece of colour, texture and the most extraordinary detail.
"A Walk on a Country Lane" is a fused glass wave bursting with the most glorious meadow colour from edge to edge.
Slender green stems weave and sway across the whole piece - a cascading cloud of pale lavender-blue glass beads like wisteria drifting in the breeze, bold sunshine yellow butterfly-wing petals reaching upward, bright turquoise forget-me-not clusters dotted with deep magenta, dramatic deep burgundy iris shapes rising tall, vivid clusters of red-orange poppy beads, a bold cobalt blue cornflower standing proud, and scattered fragments of green glass like confetti across the whole meadow floor.
Tiny orange and green speckles shimmer across the white and clear glass ground like pollen dust caught in the afternoon light. 🌸
Lower and longer than our curve pieces, this wave shape has a wonderfully relaxed, flowing quality - like the lane itself, unhurried and full of beautiful things to discover.
