A whole summer meadow, suspended forever inside glass. 🌿✨
This utterly breathtaking fused glass tile is lovingly handcrafted by Viki, one of our extraordinarily talented Clayful Thoughts Crafter's Corner makers.
Viki's fused glass work is genuinely like nothing else - each piece a miniature masterpiece of skill, artistry and the most extraordinary detail. And this one? This one is pure magic.
"So Delicate" is a tall, slender clear glass tile alive with the most incredibly fine wiggly stems - hairline threads of lime green glass curling and reaching upward through the clear ground like real wildflowers growing, so delicate they seem to move as the light shifts.
Perched on those stems, the most jewel-like round glass blooms: a deep cobalt blue with a white star centre, a vivid cherry red sphere, a warm golden yellow with a dark eye, a gorgeous red and white Murrine star head, a soft lavender purple - each one a tiny glass treasure, perfectly formed and glowing with colour.
The whole clear ground is an absolute blizzard of tiny lime green and burnt orange confetti dots scattered like pollen exploding in every direction, giving the piece the most wonderful sense of life and movement.
And at the very base, a lush, dense carpet of vivid lime green glass packed with more millefiori treasures - a pale blue and white bloom, a pink and red striped millefiori disc, more cobalt blue rounds nestled amongst the green. 🌸
Look at the macro shots and you can see just how extraordinary this piece truly is - those hairline stems are fused deep within the glass itself, fired until they became part of it forever.
The depth, the clarity, the incredible fineness of the work - it is genuinely breathtaking to look at up close.
The glass sits in a beautifully crafted natural pine wooden stand, ready to display the moment it arrives.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece.
Once it's gone, it's gone - there will never be another quite like it.
A truly exceptional gift for anyone who loves nature, art and the most extraordinary handcrafted things - or the most magical treat for your own home. ✨
