Quack, quack . . . hurry along, children. 🦤✨
There is something joyful about this piece. A mama duck - standing tall, composed, totally in charge - with her little ducklings lined up behind her in the most gloriously chaotic little procession.
She's a mama with all her ducks in a row for sure . . .
All rendered in the most breathtaking golden sunset silhouette fused glass by Viki, one of our extraordinarily talented Clayful Thoughts Crafter's Corner makers.
The glass itself glows with colour, that warm, deep amber and sunshine yellow - fired and fused into the most extraordinary golden light - catches every ray and fills the scene with the feeling of the most perfect golden hour you have ever stood in.
Against it, the most beautifully detailed black silhouette unfolds: the riverbank grasses and wild meadow stems in the foreground, the reeds and wildflowers nodding in an imagined breeze, and rising above it all - mama duck, proud and magnificent, with her little ones clustered and waddling close behind.
The shaped wavy top edge of the tile is such a beautiful finishing touch - giving the whole piece the quality of a painting, a window into a perfect countryside moment frozen forever in glass.
Wherever this piece lives, it will bring the most wonderful warmth and happiness to the room.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Once she has found her forever home, there will never be another quite like her.
The most perfect gift for anyone who loves ducks, wildlife, the countryside, or simply something genuinely beautiful and handcrafted with the most extraordinary skill and care. ❤️
