Some things are made to be kept forever.
This handcrafted stoneware bud vase is one of those things.
Handthrown on the wheel and shaped with real skill and patience, she has the most beautiful organic silhouette - a gentle curve at her base rising up to a slender neck.
Sitting proudly on her surface is a raised 3D butterfly, handcrafted and applied by hand - her wings filled with the most intricate little flower dot detail, every tiny mark placed with care and attention.
She is finished in my signature Magic Glaze - a glaze that moves and flows beautifully across her surface. In this case she is displaying warm taupes, soft greys, and the most beautiful creamy whites depending on the light. No two pieces are ever the same due to how the glaze moves and finds its own way in the kiln.
She is warm. She is earthy. She is completely one of a kind.
This little vase was handcrafted by Sarah right here in the Clayful Thoughts Pottery Studio.
Thrown, shaped, and glazed with a two stage kiln firing process - every step of the creation process taken with real care, patience, love and attention.
She is perfect for a single stem flower, a sprig of dried botanicals and real flowers, or simply displayed as the beautiful piece of art she is.
A truly beautiful gift for someone you love. For a birthday, a new home, an anniversary, Mother's Day - or simply because some people deserve something as beautiful as they are.
Or perhaps she is just for you. 🌸
